The Standard Room at Thaulle offers 18 m² of individually designed space with a balcony, floor-to-ceiling glass front and nature views. The amenities match those of every room category in the hotel, including air conditioning, Siddhalepa Ayurveda care products and quality cotton bed linen. The only difference compared with the higher categories is the room size. Thaulle is a pure Ayurveda hotel, adults only, doctor-led by Dr. Upul.

Every Standard Room at Thaulle Resort is individually furnished and therefore one of a kind. Sinhalese antiques, wood from the Yoda Lake region of Sri Lanka and elements inspired by the architecture of Geoffrey Bawa give the room its distinct character. The design follows the principles of Vastu, the traditional Indian science of architectural harmony.

Who the Standard Room is the right choice for
You come to Thaulle for the programme, not for the suite. Your days are shaped by treatments, consultations, walks by Yoda Lake and intentional rest. Your room is the place where you sleep, settle into calm and process what the programme sets in motion.
If the treatment plan, organic quality and sustainability of the resort matter more to you than additional square metres, the Standard Room is the right fit. The Thaulle Standard Room offers everything an effective Ayurveda programme requires, without space you do not need.
The same Ayurveda programme in every room category
At Thaulle Resort, we do not create a two-tier experience. Regardless of room category, you receive the same doctor-led Ayurveda programme, the same access to all treatments and the same care from Dr. Upul and his team. The Ayurveda cuisine, consultations, daily therapies, medicine and meals are the same throughout.
The only difference is the size of your room. The Standard Room offers 18 m². The Thaulle Suite offers 57 m². The programme works equally in both. One important note: if you choose a programme of 28 days or more, you receive the most comprehensive Ayurveda package as well as three excursion days included.
Room rates
Rates at Thaulle are programme rates, not room-only rates. Every stay includes the doctor-led Ayurveda programme, treatments, meals and personal care.
Rates start at €240 per night with a minimum stay of 6 nights, and at €170 per night for stays of 28 nights or more. The exact rate for your preferred category and occupancy will be provided in your individual offer.

What distinguishes the Standard Room from the other categories?
The amenities are identical. The only difference is the size: 18 m² instead of up to 57 m² in the Thaulle Suite. The Ayurveda programme, treatments and care are the same across all categories.
Is the Standard Room also suitable for couples?
At 18 m², the Standard Room is more geared towards solo travellers. For couples, we recommend the Junior Suite (47 m²) with a separate living area.
