An Ayurveda stay works not only during the treatments. Sleep, the silence of Sri Lanka and the quality of the surroundings influence the regeneration process. That is precisely why the rooms at Thaulle are designed according to the principles of Vastu – room layout, light guidance and materials follow a doctrine of harmony that has been linked with Ayurveda for centuries.

Thaulle is a pure Ayurveda hotel: the entire house is geared towards Ayurveda guests, no walk-in clientele, no event groups. This protects what an effective cure needs – calm and consistency.

28 rooms, no two alike, furnished with Sinhalese antiques and woods from the Yoda Lake region, inspired by the architecture of Geoffrey Bawa.
